Justin Oliver Justin is a professional drummer in the Boston area, with experience as a session recording artist and touring musician. His recording credits include "5 Weeks" theme song for CBS Show Guiding Light, Manhattan Center Studios, Mockingbird Studios, Incredible Steps Productions, and Sound Museum. He currently performs with artists Alley Blues, Magdalen Hsu-Li, No Limit. As well as performances with Ruane Sibley, Kristin Fehlau, Adam Ezra Group, Budweiser True Music Tour, Michelle Lewis, Beantown Project, Casey Desmond, and Pauline Pisano. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, his musicianship ranges from R&B/Soul, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Blues and Rock. A disciplined live and studio performer able to incorporate electronic loops and click tracks, as well as programing drum loops. For the past eight years, Justin has been an active private instructor of many aspiring drummers and percussionists. A dedicated and knowledgable teacher, Justin conducts his lessons with a patient, easy-going demeanor, creating a relaxed environment conducive to learning an instrument. He believes that drums are meant to be fun and exciting, and strives to convey that to his students. Justin continues to seek out new and challenging musical opportunites to grow as an artist and sharpen his craft. |
